my poor hair >_<;;

so today i went to get a haircut in brighton. i went to the salon essensuals - its part of tony & guy, meant to be the new "trendy" offshoot.. so i figured it should be pretty kosher, but NO! it was awful, she did it in like 15mins, cut so much off and the layers are sooo crap its like she turned temporarily blind whilst attending to me. and she is supposed to be a premiere stylist, it cost me 43 quid and when i came home i had to get ian to fix it with a pair of scissors as i knelt in front of the toilet in his flat!! how wrong is that?!! x_x the only good thing was that they spent 15mins beforehand washing my hair and massaging my head, with me lying on a couch with built in massage rollers! but neway, back to the moral of the story - never go to essensuals!! at least avoid the stylist called emma in brighton!

ian and i also spent the day in town buying a new suit and shoes for the cny ball in cambridge next week.. ok so i dont think he is ever going to forgive me, cos when he was back in california over Christmas (that's where his home is) he asked me on the phone whether he should bring a suit over, and i apparently very apathetically replied "nah.. dont worry.. im sure the ball won't be that formal".. "are you sure?".. "yeah".. "are you SURE?".. "yeah of course"... hmm... and he hasnt stopped recalling this conversation to me since!! i think he is mad that he splashed out on a new suit in the end for no reason. i feel bad! =(
